Engine flameout, Call shortly before plane hits bridge in Taiwan

Someone in the cockpit of a TransAsia Airways flight apparently made a mayday call because of an engine problem shortly before the plane crashed Wednesday into a river in Taiwan, killing at least 32 people. Fifty eight people were aboard the flight when it went out of control. Many of the 15 people who survived the crash were injure. Two other people, who were in a car on the bridge that was clipped by the wind of the plane as it went down, also were hurt.

  1. I am so glad you posted this video! That was crazy to see as well as read the story along with it. How does this happen in the 21st century? I am a little apprehensive to flying on airplanes again.
